Hedingham Castle

Birds-eye view of the Norman Keep of Hedingham castle surrounded by trees

Hedingham Castle, built in 1140, is one of the best preserved examples of a Norman Keep. Sitting on a hill on the Essex, Suffolk and Cambridge border, this historic building is now a family home. The castle, landscaped gardens and tea room are open on select days throughout the year, and there is a packed programme of events to enjoy.
