Aberdeen Science Centre

Family of four play with colourful building blocks around a table in an indoor activity area for young children

The centre is divided into six zones and features over 60 hands-on exhibits, a theatre, workshops, science shows and a chatty robot!

Delve into big science topics including energy, space and life sciences. Make, build and create your own designs and inventions. Carry out your own experiments with wind, vehicles and a wriggly slinky toy.

You can introduce young children to science in the under 6s zone, packed with mirrors, shadows, illusions and activities.

The centre is fully wheelchair accessible.

There is a calm sensory space with dark dens, sensory toys, and ear defenders, and you can borrow a sensory box from reception to carry with you on your visit.
